Soak another new gauze or cotton pad with Neilmed, or saline solution, and clean well by dragging all the residue of your piercing through the entrance and exit.

With another completely dry gauze or cotton swab, dry the entire area thoroughly.

Repeat these steps morning and night throughout the healing process, which will differ depending on the area pierced.

Tongue/smiley/lip piercing: Thoroughly brush teeth 3 times a day and rinse with ALCOHOL-FREE mouthwash.
If you eat between meals, rinse only with water afterwards.
Avoid drinking alcohol, smoking and eating spicy foods during the first week.
