After 1 or 2 hours (if possible not more than that) remove the transparent film and wash the tattoo with neutral soap. Ideally, first wash your hands with this soap, then lather your hands with it, and gently pass the lather over the tattoo in circular movements. Then, rinse with cool or lukewarm water (never hot), and dry with disposable paper using small soft touches, since a towel can scratch the tattoo and have residues from previous washes.<\/p>

Do not re-cover the tattoo with film. The tattoo should be allowed to air dry.<\/p>

Do not apply any cream until 48 hours after the tattoo is done. The ideal is to keep the tattoo CLEAN (we must wash it as explained 1 or 2 times a day) and DRY. Avoid anything that implies humidity (excessive sweating, excessive application of cream, immersion in the sea or swimming pool).<\/p>

From the 2nd day on, start applying tattoo care cream. Apply a thin layer of cream massaging very gently 1 or maximum 2 times a day. It is important not to apply too much cream, as the excess of humidity and the occlusion it would cause in the wound could favor the risk of infection. The purpose of applying the cream is to give some elasticity to the tattooed skin and allow movement, minimising the risk of the scab drying out too much and cracking causing wounds.<\/p>

From the 4th or 5th day (this may vary depending on the person) the tattoo will begin to \u00abpeel\u00bb, gradually shedding a thin crust or layer of skin, similar to what happens when we get too sunburn. This is perfectly normal.<\/p>

When the scab covering the tattoo begins to fall off, it is important not to rip it off and let it fall off on its own. If any part of the tattoo crusts over a little thicker, simply apply just a little more cream to that area, and gently massage in the application of the cream.<\/p>

It is likely that after a few days of healing, the tattoo will begin to itch. In these cases, avoid scratching the tattooed area, and to soothe it, it is advisable to give small pats.<\/p>

Avoid immersing the tattoo in swimming pools and the sea for two weeks or until the tattoo has completely peeled off.<\/p>

Avoid sports or activities that may cause friction on the tattoo or generate excessive sweating for at least one week.<\/p>

Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing over the tattoo. Loose-fitting clothes made of non-scratching fabrics, such as regular cotton T-shirts, loose-fitting sweatpants, etc., are always more advisable.<\/p>

Avoid drinking alcohol in excess for 24 hours after the tattoo as this may promote bleeding.<\/p>
